About Me
A passionate musician in motion
I started playing the piano at an early age with a renowned Bay Area pianist. I’m classically trained in both piano and voice. I completed advanced levels of Certificate of Merit in piano and landed roles in musical theater productions throughout high school. Initially a classically trained in opera singer, I’m a versatile singer-song writer in jazz, blues, R&B, pop, and soul.
I was selected to sing at the Big Talent Showcase in Vegas summer of 2015 where I was recognized by A list producers, agents, and record companies including Virgin, Universal, and Indasoul Records. After many competing rounds, I placed as a finalist amongst numerous performers in the showcase. This year, I recently released a new single called Unmovable which you can download, purchase, and/or stream. In 2017, I released my debut album of original songs. Singer/songwriter, I’m a well sought soloist and lead singer at various venues including weddings, private parties, and restaurant lounges. Performing as the lead singer of a Jazz band called Six on Sundays, we released their first demo CD Album in 2013. I’ve been a regular featured singer as Jazz La Em, Angelica’s in Redwood City, and Rokko Fine Cuisine in Sunnyvale, and various local churches. As a Music Educational Specialist with an emphasis in working with special needs children, I taught piano, voice, and Early Music Awareness classes at the Music Place in San Jose for three years while running my own private music studio. I also taught music classes at Carden Day School in Campbell and Kwan School of Music in San Jose for several years. Combining all the students, I have taught over 500+ students. I’m happily continuing to run my own private studio from home and sing professionally locally and abroad with a 5 star Yelp rating.
